National Association of Personnel Services Certification

How qualified is your recruiting firm? When you need a professional executive search partner, you can trust your business to a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC). 

Since 1961, the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) has been certifying recruiting and staffing professionals nationally. Certification is viewed by the business community and the industry as a seal of excellence. Fortune Magazine reported in its July 20, 1998 issue that one way to choose a recruiter is to ask if they've been certified.

As a condition of employment, new Strategic Hospitality Search recruiters are required begin their studies toward the CPC designation from “day one,” and to earn certification by their six month anniversary. To successfully pass the CPC examination, our recruiters must understand and comprehend the laws and statutes that apply to the recruiting profession. 

It is very important that CPCs stay current with legal, business and related practices. NAPS has mandatory continuing education for CPCs, and we must take part in 50 contact hours of professional development or training experiences in each three-year period after certification.

  1. We present our candidates via confidential email to you and follow up with phone conferences to discuss the candidates with you.

    • Drug screen
  1. At offer time, the offer is rolled out through your SHS Consultant who will assist the candidate through transition and relocation if necessary.
